About Campus West Car Wash

Located at 1305 W Elizabeth St, Fort Collins, CO 80521, Campus West Car Wash operates as a self-service car wash serving Fort Collins in Colorado. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Fort Collins, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Colorado, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are Open 24 hours. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Campus West Car Wash at (970) 482-0287; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Its Google rating stands at 2.6 out of 5 from 80 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Fort Collins is in Colorado, in the Mountain West, where the high elevation brings cold snowy winters, warm dry summers and big day-to-night temperature swings; ski and summer tourist seasons shape opening hours in resort towns. Getting around Fort Collins is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Colorado's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The price is labeled as $5 to use the self serve area but charged my card $15. When I tried to call and left voicemails nobody responded. Scammy as hell.

It was a good car wash till I found out it scammed me. My total at the end said 13.50 but on my account I was charged 15 dollars its not a lot but its scummy as hell and if you do that to enough people thats a lot of money.

I had a great deal of scum on my tires and wheels and wanted to use the tire cleaner. I went to the bay closest to sonic, ran my debit card and wasted $15.00 trying to get the presoak/tire dressing nozzle to spray. It would spray for a couple seconds, then blow air, then spray enough to keep me waiting. I gave up then decided to just use the presoak, after a minute, that wouldn't even spray out. I then decided to try my luck in the middle bay. Same issue with the tire cleaner. I probably lost a minute or two in that bay until I gave up and used the presoak. This time it worked and I was able to do what I needed to do. I feel like I wasted 20 out of the $30 I was charged between both bays. (I had two charges of $15.00, one for each bay) I called the phone number and left a voicemail. No reply yet. The date I washed was June 8.

Went there to use the wax. I spent the $5 on my card to get started and they were out of wax. Called and left a message amd they never responded. They couldn't care less about their customers. Go to Executive wash on Harvard instead, everything always works as it should.

I been going here for years. I like the place, it's fast and not expensive. The pre soak soap dispensers don't work very well but I don't care I don't think they do much good anyway. I pressure wash to wet it then use the soap brush to clean it. I find the brush is really the only time effective way to clean your car, and get it reasonably clean. I pressure wash and use the spot free rinse. Be sure to press stop to stop the charge. I drive around to dry it and use paste wax to finish, at home . It's not car show clean, but it's (usually) the sparkly-est car in the parking lot. The wax makes the paint and clear coat last and last.
